Dogwood blooms are one of the earliest in Spring. These are from a visit to Ribbon Walk, a great destination for bird watching and hiking through some old growth trees near Charlotte, NC.

I’ve always enjoyed nature in its many-faceted forms and am drawn to landscape, from high mountain fields to forest paths, creeks and lakes, from spring to summer to fall and winter.
I hope to evoke the feeling of the moment, transporting the viewer to a feeling of “being there.”
